THE HEART BEHIND FAY'S CREATIVITY

I go by many names but they all merge into the quiet hands behind the brush, the lens, the sanded wood, the garden path. My work begins in the small, unspoken moments: the hush of morning light or the amber tone of a lazy afternoon, the curve of a petal, the delicate rust of something once loved, the whisper of a bird settling on a branch...these are the places where my imagination wakes.

I paint to hold onto fleeting things — the shimmer of water before it moves on, the breath between seasons, the stories tucked inside weathered objects. I photograph to listen more closely. I restore furniture to honor the lives held in grain and groove. I design landscapes to shape spaces that feel like exhalations. I craft signs and cards to send a little handmade warmth into the world.

Every piece I create is a conversation between memory and color, between texture and time, between the world as it is and the world as I feel it. My hope is that when you step into my work, you find something familiar — a quiet echo of home, a spark of wonder, a moment that feels like it was waiting for you.

Thank you for wandering into my studio. I’m grateful you’re here, and I hope what you find brings a bit of beauty & curiosity to your day,

Fay

MY STORY & MISSION

I was born from a lifelong passion for the arts — a devotion that has woven itself into a world of creativity spanning watercolor painting, plein air landscapes, photography, furniture restoration, sign making and hand‑drawn landscape design.

My formal training shaped that path from my studies with a double major in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture at the University of Idaho and later contining my art education journey at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, focusing on Photography.

I believe that art and craft connect people to memories, nature, and the quiet moments of beauty that shape our lives. Every piece I create — whether on paper, through a lens, or in the landscape itself — is made with intention, warmth, and a hope to inspire joy, reflection, and a sense of home.
